I get more sappy as I get older and I know I'm promoting a song that has a lit hype feel to it.. but the message is a solid one. I'm amazed by how God does things. How He orchestrates the lives of all of us. How He fine tunes our plans to meet His divine appointments. How His love never ceases even when we stray.. He loves us ✝️

If you don't know.. Mary had a little lamb—wait, no, okay, so it’s Christmas in July right? Which makes absolutely no sense because it is literally 95 degrees outside, but anyway, this lamb is wearing a neon red Santa hat and—oh! I forgot to mention it’s literally producing soft-serve vanilla ice cream from its hooves. Like, actual dairy on the sizzling pavement. Very messy, super distracting.

So Mary is trying to bake gingerbread cookies—or wait, was she building a gingerbread skyscraper? Scrap that, the lamb is eating all the sprinkles. Just straight up inhaling them like a vacuum cleaner. And it’s humming "Jingle Bells" but completely backwards, which is vibrating at a frequency that is causing the kitchen chairs to levitate.
So she’s like, nope, we gotta go, and drags it into this store.

Now she’s sprinting down the aisles, dodging a display of inflatable lawn flamingos. Ooh, look at that shiny thing. Wait, focus. She’s looking for something to calm the lamb down. And suddenly, out of nowhere, BAM! She stops dead in her tracks.

Right there. On the shelf. Between the canned yams and the glow-in-the-dark socks. There's this item, right? And it is practically glowing with heavenly light, floating about two inches off the shelf. She looks closer, squinting, and sees the most ominous, hyper-specific expiration date stamped on the front: JULY 17th.

Mary’s hand is literally shaking. The lamb stops humming and starts doing a dramatic operatic solo. She reaches out, grabs it, turns it over, her brain is completely short-circuiting, the suspense is building, and she is left just standing there in absolute, pure, jaw-dropping wonder at what happens when the clock strikes midnight on the 17th?! The room goes ice cold, the universe is about to fracture, you're gonna wonder how we even got here—

I know to some it looks like I was just playing music. But what you don't know is that there were stories shared, creativity explored, and career questions asked. I love when a student wants to hang out by the booth and talk... It gets tough too 😅 trying to dj, teach, and inspire all at the same time BUT it's part of the work that makes it more meaningful.
